Divisoria Integrated Bus Terminal ready for use by yearend-Despalo

ZAMBOANGA CITY (ZNS) -  The City Engineers Office has assured that work on the multimillion Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT) at Divisoria Barangay will be completed and that the terminal could be ready for use before the end of this year.

City Engineer  Luis Vicente Despalo said that  the IBT is now on its final stages of completion and rated the construction work at about 85 percent (85%).

Work on the project started some two years ago.

Despalo said that the time frame for the final completion was already set before  the  year 2014 .

The IBT  has   an appropriated funds amounting to  P175 million and is a joint venture of 3VC’s and Benhar Construction.

Despalo said that  the  IBT will include facilities as the  pre-departure and arrival areas for the buses, comforts rooms, waiting hall, stalls, ramps for the  disabled and senior citizen under the Batasang Pambansa No. 344.

He also said that the  IBT is one of the major projects that will be completed before the end of this year. (Letty M. Militante) (110414)
