NYC launches own

12th TAYO search


ZAMBOANGA CITY (ZNS) – The National Youth Commission (NYC) has formally launched and is now accepting entries from youth groups, organizations, clubs and societies for the Search for Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards.

Now on its 12th year, the TAYO Awards seeks to recognize outstanding youth organizations, and their valuable contribution to nation building. The annual search is spearheaded in line with the mandated function of the NYC under RA 8044, otherwise known as the Youth in Nation Building Act.
Apart from the chance of being recognized as one of the top youth organizations in the country, winners will also receive an especially commissioned trophy, and a grant of Php 50,000.00 intended to fund new projects or continue long term programs.

Interested organizations can download the 12th TAYO Awards entry forms from the NYC website (www.nyc.gov.ph), and the TAYO Awards website (www.tayoawards.net). Accomplished entry forms may be submitted online via the websites, or via email at tayo12entry@gmail.com.
Entries can also be couriered and hand-carried to the TAYO Secretariat at the following addresses: NYC, 4th Floor Bookman Building 373 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City 1113, or TAYO Awards Foundation Inc., 2602 C East Tower, Philippine Stock Exchange Center, Exchange Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, 1605.
Previous TAYO Award winners include the Youth Solidarity for Peace – Peace Advocates Zamboanga who won during the 9th TAYO Awards.
