Peninsula Exposition set at Garden Orchid on Oct 8-11

ZAMBOANGA CITY (ZNS) –The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is hosting a four-day  Zamboanga Peninsula Exposition on  October 8-11,2014 at the  Garden Orchid Hotel  in Governor Camins this city .

DTI City Director Engr. Rolando Acuna  said that  several activities and events were prepared  by DTI in close coordination with  the other line government agencies like the Department of Agriculture and DOST.

Among those activities and events are  the  Techno Demo on how to  make buko juice  and nutria foods  to include  the packaging and  as well as  on the investment  guide , materials , capital and profit or gain .

Acuna said that along with display of nutria foods  are the  making of  “mamon”, packaging , recycle, bottled sardines and seaweeds products .

There  will also be lectures by  the Philippine Franchise  with lecturers  from other cities like Manila  who  were invited  to present  the “micro franchise” scheme.

The Department of Agriculture (DA)  on the “Asean Community   Forum of Agriculture “ will also present the  so –callled “ Business Matching  “  wherein  investors coming from other cities in the country particular in Manila will present  their products  and buyers  interested to invest in the city .

Exhibitors and guest  coming from regions in Mindanao  to  include those from Manila and other cities  will be given a “free tour ”  from the different  tourist destination   in the city . (Letty M. Militante ) (100314)
