ZAMBOANGA
CITY (ZNS) – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) will formally release the new
plates next week, Regional Director Atty. Aminola ”Alex” Abaton said .
This
announcement came after it was found out that there was a difference of
about 200 pieces of motorcycle
plates against its earlier request to the head office Manila
Abaton
said that the differential was only for the single motorcycle and
not on four (4) wheels vehicles .
The
news plates that arrived earlier will only be released for those brand
new vehicles registered starting January to July 2014 ,Abaton.
On the
other hand, for those in the other areas in the region ,the office has already
distributed plates regionwide as
to Pagadian City
Abaton
said that there are about 20,000 new plates for the single motorcycle
regionwide and more than 900 new plates for the four wheels vehicles .
As
this developed, Abaton remind that as part of the Standardization Program, no
cover plates in any design is allowed
and violations will carry a fine
and penalty amounting to five thousand pesos only (P5,000.00)

Sir/maam, gusto ko po itanong kung to too po ba na after 1 year pa bago ko mkuha any plaka ko..bumili ako ng baging motor registered last Feb 29 2016,. Cnabi po ng dealer na 1 year DW bago mkuha ang plate number ko..grave nman poh..tooto po ba?
