OWWA offers free IT courses to
OFWs and dependents in Zambo

ZAMBOANGA CITY (ZNO) -The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is providing free Information and Technology (IT) courses aimed at bridging communication gap between Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their dependents or families.
OWWA Regional Information Officer Natasha Omar said Wednesday the IT training program also aims to enable the OFW and his or her family through the use of internet.
Omar said the IT courses are computer literacy programs that provide OFWs and their families a training and access to technology.
She said the IT training program is just one of the programs being provided by the agency to its clientele.
She said the OFWs and their dependents may choose from a day or two days of training.
She said the program has nine IT advancement skill courses from basic computer concepts to web designing, spreadsheet concepts and other IT related courses.

She said interested applicants may visit the OWWA regional office at the 3rd floor of Goodwill Center along Mayor Jaldon Street, Barangay Canelar, this city or may contact through telephone number (062)991-27-85. (PNA) (080814)
